This is a lovely poem with a beautiful picture to go with it. I like 'Jesus to safely guide us home' This is a very sweet and comforting line. Good Luck in the contest.

I realize the form can be limiting but there seems to be a serious transition issue between the second and third line. I'm not sure how to fix it - I'm not totally with it to do to think up a good "I" line - but it should be some reason why people need Jesus.

Nice poem but I don't understand why the "instead" was there other then for the letter I. "Instead he had to send"
Might want to revise it for the contest so that the verse before it would tie in with this one.
