This clever 3-5-3 poem captures the essence of Halloween perfectly.
I'm an Aussie so the celebration of Halloween is rather foreign to me. It seems like such a strange thing to celebrate.

I wondered about your choice of 'decorate but the dearth of Hallowe'en merchandise in the shops makes it an apt choice. Halowe'en is indeed the season of 'grim delight'.Good luck in contest.

Amazing how many people delight in Halloween. It gives everyone a chance to indulge their darker side. This is short and sweet, but dark. LOL! Good luck in the contest.
