So this is what it feels like to sleep, sleep, & sleep some more. An insomniac just wants to know! I'll have to take your word for it. It sounds very desirable & peaceful, not like my own tossing & turning. You are very brave to post a picture of yourself sleeping, too. You really must worship this particular state of consciousness! *smile*

Thanks Barleygirl. Actually I usually only sleep 5 hrs a night, so when I get mire, it's a treat.

I tend to have a day when I wish I could sleep all day. Not wanting my husband or son to wake me up, but then I realize their is much to be done and I must get up.

Ending rhyme words: possible/beautiful aren't quite right
I like these two lines most: I loath to leave a spot so beautiful.

The poem was nice and was very in tact with the title. The pic went very nice with the poem. If the pictures was not there it may have been harder to visualize. Nice job

I agree . . .I am a big fan of sonnets. You did well with the rhyme scheme. And still you were able to get across the clear message. You love the comfort and peacefulness of your own bed. "To sleep - per chance to dream."

This is well written. I love sleeping in a comfortable bed. I related to the joy of the dreams, and the desire to stay in this space as long as possible. It is a place of renewal and safety.

A very cute poem, Tom. Brave of you to have your picture taken while asleep. I'm an early riser, myself. But appreciate the fact that there are many "sheet huggers" out there. Nicely done.

In reflection of sleep and a love of the time allocated to it.
As long as we can wake again to enjoy its knowledge is the one of the nicest feelings available to man, with the knowledge that all is ok within our waking hours.
