Great story giraffmang and a good addition to these tiny tales. Good descriptions put me right there in the house with Ivor and Georgia. A most unexpected ending for me. Great read.

Love it. Each little step reveals a little more. The perpetrator seems to change every few lines. Ivor seems to be the obvious source of mischief. Then the kid loses innocence by murdering her Dad on behalf of a ghostly mother. But, his final words reveal the ghost as stranger. You know how to get that last minute thing that gives horror its unpredictability. Great stuff.

A great tale of horror. The evil spirit that possessed Georgia is threatening and deadly. Although, not shown, we know the father will not come out of this alive. The sentence about the father feeling stung is a great hint to readers about how this thing entered the house. Great addition to this book.

Excellent, a good addition to the book. It has all the suspense that leads up to the climax of the story. What a wicked little girl. Full of evil. Well done. Ulla

Oh, another excellent tiny tale of terror, G. Great descriptions and loved the surprise of Georgia pushing her dad down the stairs to join Mommy. You have a great writer's horror streak in you.
Smiles,
Karyn :-)

Many thanks, Karyn. I like this genre but normally have trouble making the flash fiction requirements! All the best, G

Hi giraffmange.

A short original horror story with a twist at the end with:- 'That's not Mommy.'

The dramatic picture in black and white adds to the story by setting the mood.

A well written and compelling read, providing a good visual.

A perfect addition to Tiny Tales of Terror.

:) Mel.

Clever clues with her compared to a marionette. Then the chill of her bed sheets. I didn't get the bit about the pain and splintered bed post. Did "something" get in? The ending indicates that is the case. Shocking and chilling.

Well written and totally terrifying.
Bringing children into a nightmare, always bad.

Not something to use as a bedtime story.

Good job, I look forward to more.

Something wanted Georgia all to itself. Creepy stuff, sir. For a while I thought Georgia and her mother had both died and Ivor had somehow managed to keep Georgia's corpse. Kind of like Norman B. kept his mother.
Then enter the supernatural, proving me wrong.

Fine piece. Another good addition to the book.
