At the end of the day, this is what we can experience
if we let our souls do so. An excellent haiku. Unfortunately,
in San Diego we don't have crickets! -Bill

Lilies are such beautiful flowers. You mention the time as dusk, so that would be a nice, quiet time to relax and enjoy the fragrance. Maybe admire them while sitting out in the back yard. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent last line. A perfect time for a cricket serenade. I enjoy the peaceful quality in this. judi

Hello, Judi :) Yes! You got the same image I had when I wrote this. Sitting in my backyard, smelling my lilies, and the peaceful silence. The cricket sound is peaceful too. Thank you very much :) I am you happy you like my haiku. *gypsy hug*

I'm so behind I can't even recall if I responded to this. If I did, please ignore this message, as they say. Excellent work with your haiku. judi

Thanks for this beautiful poem and the excellent general layout. So nice that you make your own paintings as well. This is one about lilies, well done. Best wishes for this contest.

Very nicely done. Who doesn't love lilies and their intoxicating perfume, subtle yet powerful. In your title there are typos to fix:
"Hainu (haiku) number 27"
AND
"Haiku ( frangrant (fragrant) lillies )"

I enjoyed your haiku. The color scheme is perfect. I love the lilies in your artwork. Good job on the format. I can almost hear the cricket serenade.
[fragrant] look at yours
Good job and thanks for sharing.
As I said before, I admire how you kept to your goal. I have enjoyed reading each one.

Thank you, Jan :) I will check out that word--thanks! Everyone is being so nice, like you are. I appreciate you reading all my haiku and reviewing them. *gypsy hugs*

Gypsy,
On the haiku from yesterday about the love birds [see your haiku stayed in my mind], did you paint the artwork? I love it. Jan
-
Thank you :) Yes I did paint it. I have been painting all the ones that go with my haiku. I am glad you like them. The haiku poets in Japan paint their own artwork to go with their poems. The art work is called HAIGA, but you know that. good night, I am very sleepy. *gypsy hug^

Thank you, Sister Cat :)
I am enjoying all the love I'm getting with the haiku month thing. It's great! I have the best friends here in fanstory. All my fan/reviewers are very kind, including YOU. Robyn said, "Did you hear that March is the haiku one a day month?" LMAO she is so funny. *sister gypsy kisses*

I'm trying to keep up with you, Exotic Spanish Gypsy Haiku Mystic Extraordinaire. Just a perfect picture, serene and in the moment. You bring us there and place us in the middle to see what you see, hear what you hear, smell what you smell and feel what you feel. This is very Japanese in flavor I think. I have trouble getting my brain to think like that, but the ones I've read from Basho and other top one's like him feel like this. Anyway, Jeez, you just knocked this whole thing off in a breeze. I've seen some authors try the poem a day thing and have it dwindle down to total crap. HAHAHA. You've improved as time went by. Bravo!! mikey

LMAO Exotic Spanish Gypsy Haiku Mystic Extraordinaire. Nobody has ever called me that. I like it a lot. I think I will have your phrase tattooed on my back. LOL I am loving your reviews. They just keep getting better and better. I really appreciate the awesome compliments and that you took the time to read and review my haiku. Basho is my idol, and for you to say that my haiku feels like his haiku-- well. I have no words to express my immense gratitude. Thank you, Mikey. *gypsy hugs*

Sweet the smell of Spring
When flowers touch the breeze
Inviting the crickets songs
To say it is evening time so long
Well the month is close
To finish the Haiku poems
soon to begin again
With another series of songs

This haiku paints a picture. One can almost imagine sitting outdoors on a summer's evening.
You are getting close to the end of your haiku journey, Gypsy.
