Free style and lots of fun.
Every now and then it can be very therapeutic to compare our attributes and achievements top dated, but famous, people.
I thoroughly enjoyed this comparison and a chance to see hoiw free style poetry comes together.
Well written.
:-) Shirley

It is quite a ravishing model picture I might add! I enjoyed this light poem. It was truly fun to read. It does actually look as if you are modeling for the camera with a certain type of poem. This poem was truly fun.

I enjoyed your free style form and fun with comparing yourself to Aristotle. I liked the recurring "outlet" end-rhyme. The picture is worth at least a hundred words! Smiles- Joan

Great fun. These particular rhymes reminded me of what I firmly believe is the finest piece of forced rhyme ever penned:

"With ketchup always shake the bottle
First, nothing comes and then a lot'll"

Ogden Nash is credited with a variation of this. So you have probably seen it or something like it before.

Thank you Pantgynt, that's a good one. Yes, I have, but wasn't thinking of it at the time I wrote this.

Clever poem, Mr. Anonymity. Question: why don't you put your name down, or your fS handle, when it's not a "blind" contest? Just askin'. You know I immediately thought I spotted a resemblance the moment I saw your picture. Then I remembered it was Socrates, not Aristotle, I was thinking of.

I'll wage competition of my wattle against yours any day.

Thank you Jay. Hah, that would quite the competition. Doesn't my fs handle of treischel show on the poem? I thought it does.

Well, I see you have trimmed your beard, as compared to your profile pic. Just remember, in ALL WAYS you resemble Aristotle...except maybe for the wattle. Lol - fun times with poetic drivel :)

I wouldn't have said that except you brought it up...sorry, bad joke. I DO like the look of the short beard though :)

hahahaha!

I like this very much, Tom! It made me 1.) search the photo for the bust - like a puzzle and 2.) laugh, laugh, LAUGH!

A great piece to share!

There is a distinct likeness, Tom! Well, I never! A reincarnation. Now all is explained.
A man of so many talents. If, perchance, he was slightly more astute, you surely are a great deal more hirsute!

This is a very amusing little poem. I love that you look like Aristotle, share his love of writing and similar thinking. Maybe you're a reincarnation, or not. Either way it was funny.

Haha! How did you figure that out? :)
This made me laugh!

"We share
the ink bottle"
Now, that's real camaraderie! Much more fun than a whisky bottle!
Such an amusing way to put it with the subtle reference :)!

Your rhymes are excellent and entertaining!
You had a blast with this!
