You don't need my pitiful muse, dear sir, when you have such a fine one of your own. This is delightful proof that your own is merely on hiatus, if at all that. We all have times and days when we feel this way. I am so glad you reposted this - I love it.

This deserves high stars, not only because it's so well rhymed and written, but also because it made me laugh. ð??? I have written three novels and people ask why I have stopped. I have stopped because my muse is nowhere to be found. Maybe she ran away with yours.

HELLO JAYBIRD1: I thank our God that you are still here. Your muse is you...and you are your muse. You...nor your muse has gone away. If that was a fact...I wouldn't be writing this review and thanking you for sharing. You are loved and you are appreciated. God bless you, Jaybird1. Cordially: rhonnie69.

WOW. I think your muse is back and hiding among each stanza! You're a very creative and clever poet. Your sense of timing and flowing rhymes are a strength in your writing. What a joy to read. I hope you do well in the muse contest.

You sure could borrow my muse. But beware he's a Irish, one brain cell called Rick O' Shea
You'll be bouncing all over the place...but he might a-muse you. He does me.
I loved your poem. Your down hill is most people's up hill.
God bless

Hello :)
I think you're having us on! Your muse is just fine and dandy...
I really enjoyed your poem. Lovely rhyme scheme and smooth meter.
You address the frustrating matter of a missing muse very well.
Good Luck in the contest :)
Best wishes, Debra

I am trying to save my six star ratings to last me until Tuesday at least, but I could not resist awarding one to "Over the Hill." It is so deserving. It's downright humorous and charming. Even you must admit though, it's full of lies. You've definitely still got it.
Good luck in the contest. I think this one is a winner.

Dear poet friend, you are too young to lose your muse indeed, I'm sure it has simply stepped out for a sneak of muse booze, not often caught in the act but surely will be ashamed, head ached, and eager to come back. Beware of the low hanging head and chin with promises he will never do it again! realize indeed that a muse does have a need, just like a puppy that has to be walked and peed! ah yes he shall be back full of richness, wild tales and wishes to share so keep looking under your keyboard and soon he shall be there! HIS GRAYNESS; Vance
