This is a nice haiku. I like the imagery it conjures. The photo you've chosen to accompany it is lovely as well, and quite fitting. Your syllable count is appropriate, and your poem otherwise meets the criteria of a haiku. Well done! Good luck in the contest.

It is always nice to be by a babbling creek and watch dragonflies flit from red to reed. May you have a wonder filled weekend. Patricia

This is an excellent haiku, with a perfect presentation. Also, it follows all the rules of a proper haiku. The title is correct (haiku (gurgling creek), as is the syllable presentation. And it has a very good satori line, it should do very well in the contest.

A beautiful haiku. All the elements of a classically composed form, two grammatically interconnected lines of concrete imagery, a stunning satori, I liked your word count of 3-5-3.

Brilliant work. Should do well in the contest.

I really like your haiku. Your haiku is well done and it has a good satori. The presentation is okay. Good job with the syllable count is 3/5/3 which is well within the seventeen syllables and short/long/short form allowed.

A well-written haiku. I can almost hear the gurgling creek and see the sparkles in the sunshinre. There come the dragonflies drinking water.

Dragonflies are hard to catch as they keep darting away, so you must have used a net. That was nice of you to let them go - perhaps they became dinner for some hungry trout. Glad you liked this haiku. Cheers ... ;o)

This is a fine entry for the contest
4-5-3 minimal syllables give S/L/S
Excellent concrete imagery
and good grammatical connection in present tense
and a touch of alliteration
Nice third line satori
Excellent picture to complement
Well done
Good luck in the contest
