That's so good! I like that you have used the clay vessel as the body you are in, shaped my God. It's perfect. You've used this contest well, and I think it is a strong contender. Well done, and good luck! xsx Sandra

I like that you wrote this about a clay vessel but it's so us. We're all uniquely shaped. Some are rounder and taller but it's what makes us all special. Great job friend and I wouldn't change a thing

I loved your poem! It is so true! You made the reader feel your message and you relayed it with your form of verse. It had feeling and insight, and showed that we are all unique in the way God had intended us to be. Even ugly is beauty with God! For all things, there is a purpose.

Good entry into the "What is a Clay Vessel" contest. Nice rhythm, rhyme and meter. Reads very smoothly when read aloud. The content is relative to the topic of the contest. Good job. Good luck in the contest. God bless and hugs, Susanne

This poem is a beautiful take on the Isaiah 29:16. It has been many moons since I read that verse. I love your choice of rhymes to tell your story. Has this contest been voted on yet? I will vote for yours If I get an opportunity.

Very nicely done. I love the way the poem describes an individual person like pottery but as God is the artist then, he makes everyone perfect. Everyone is perfect just as they are. Love the insight and reflective religious spirit.

hi

what an excellent written poem, i feel this shold be a strong entry, i loved yor word choice.

favorite stanza is: 1

Because God made me from the dust,
with water mixed -- a pinch of lust;
a vessel formed and made from clay,
I'm fashioned -- shaped, to look this way.

and i also liked stanza 3
Yes, I can't help the way I'm shaped,
I'm still unique, the way I'm draped;
I'm moulded by the potter's hand-
to one day walk eternal's land.

no body is perfect and we are all uniqely beautiful in our own way

great job

good lck in the contest

Regards
Tia

This is wonderful, it portrays the fact that we are all different. God is an awesome vessel maker and he repairs us when we are cracked. Best wishes for the contest.
Bless you
John

Best wishes for the What is a Clay vessel contest. You really outdid yourself--this is really great. We are what our potter made us and we are made to walk eternal's land. Perfect.
