Okay I was wrong it was at the fair, and now the poor DR is dead, but if he was helping sell kids he deserves it so I don't feel bad for him. But now Beth is gone too. This is very bad!!

Interesting continuation of the story. Public bathrooms are very dangerous. I wonder why he was allowed to go alone. I think there is trouble ahead.

Brett, another very interesting chapter. Someone watching afar and anticipating. Where is Beth. Ummm. Is she part of the scheme or was she absconded too?

Another fine chapter. Why did he let Cody go alone? Grrr. I was pulling my hair out, figuratively of course.
I liked the contrast of the fun at the fair with the sudden horror of Cody gone missing. Well done.

Suggestions:
[ ] indicate delete ( ) indicate add
-manner that endears(ed) him to so many people.
-"I'm on it!" [the Sheriff remarked.] (You don't need a speech tag. It slows down the read. Also, the exclamation point indicates more than a mere remark.
- Cody was not to be located. (Keep it short. Short indicates urgency. I suggest 'Cody wasn't there.')
-With the cloth in his hand(,) Sheriff Daniels ran [out] to where he (had) left Beth(.) [standing to go retrieve Cody] (She) was nowhere to be found. [Quickly Sheriff] Daniels (quickly) realized the gravity of the situation.

In order not to say Sheriff Daniels too often I suggest using Daniels. You already use 'the Sheriff'. I was getting tired of reading the title and name.

I hope these suggestions are helpful, Brett.

Hi Brett,

I always look forward to reading your new chapters. This was great and held my interest all the way through. I hope they can find Bee-Bo before he does something to the boy.

I'm surprised that they even brought Cody out, considering the threat by Bee-Bo and his supposed to be dead. Interesting details about the fair, and it really builds up Cody's disappearance when he goes to the men's room. Beth will be blaming herself, as she was for letting Cody go unaccompanied. the fact that there is evidence that he was chloroformed lets us no that this was no Cody stunt. Someone has him. Excellent story. judi

Bee-Bo the Clown has snatched Cody.

Now what is a cold-blooded murderer like him, who also likes to sell boys to the highest bidder, going to do with little Cody?

And can't forget about Bee-Bo's favorite toy. His wood chipper?

Sawdust flavored Cody??? There's a though.

Stay tuned. Much more to come.

Hi ya Cody,

a super start of a mystery story. Couldn' stop reading it once I started.

I am very familiar with those stone park latrines. When I as a kid about 65 years go, I was cornered in one of them by a teen age boy who wanted to teach me how to box, which he did until a man came in to use it. Those toilets can be a very dangerous place especially at night.
Your friend, G E Parson.

Good place for a clown to snatch a boy he may want to turn into sawdust in his trusty chipper or maybe even sell to the highest bidder? Stay tuned. Much more to come.

Another awesome section!! So, I'm confused. Did BeeBo also snatch Beth this time? You said she was also nowhere to be found. Stupid doctor...outed Cody, and it didn't even save his life...erg!!

As always, ANXIOUSLY WAITING!! Thank you for sharing. ..Penny

Now that Bee-Bo has Cody does he become sawdust in the Clown's chipper or get sold to the highest bidder?

Perhaps Bee-Bo has other designs for this special little prize?

So much more to come so stay tuned.

    Will he now?

Or will Bee-Bo turn Cody into sawdust in his favorite wood chipper or maybe sell him to the highest bidder?

Or could Bee-Bo have other ideas in his twisted mind for this special little treat he now has?

Stay tuned. So much more to come.
