I really like the emotional build up as the sheriff runs over the incident of Cody's kidnapping and the outcome he sees as certain.
The gamut of emotions is presented with realism and the story unfolds well.
The horror f what might be happening or have already occurred is a reminder of the gravity of the situation.
An enjoyable, suspenseful read.

G'day Brett. Very well written and another very tense chapter, mate. I'm actually hoping that he does take him alive so I can read the interview transcript. However, I fear for both his and Cody's safety. That clown is a clever bugger.

What happened to Beth? Now, that's another mystery. Hope Bee-Bo hasn't got her in his clutches, too. Daniels is diligent and tracks down where he thinks Cody may be held. Cody is scrappy, so he's given Bee-Bo a hard time and probably managed to stay alive. Now if Daniels can only capture Bee-Bo before he does more harm. Great story, with a lot of tension and twists. judi

Brock Daniels inner tells him in his mind where Cody could be! Where's Beth? No way did she fall prey to the clown! Myself, I prefer that the Sheriff, when he catches this guy, just unloads his gun into this guy. Lots of drama and thought provoking feeling Brock is feeling.

Fantastic!! I never even considered the possibility that Beth could be an accomplice...How could she help him hurt her beloved son!?! I thought she too had been kidnapped...or maybe met the same fate as the doctor. Anxious to find out.

the crazy clown, Bee-Bo. He's conflicted. Who's responsible
for Cody's snatching by the psychopath? Is it a mistake or is
Beth complicit in the kidnapping? As he comes closer to the
location of Cody's suspected whereabouts, he feels the tension.
Your whole chapter bristles with tension. Great build up through
reflective description, action and dialogue. The next chapter will
be very important, and exciting.
