Yeah, thank goodness it's fiction. I never got on too well with my mother-in-law, but I put up with it.

Oh my gosh, you described my monster-in-law right down to the I'm only trying to help! She never rearranged the furniture, but the rest is pretty darn close. I never considered the ole poison in the coffee! LOL Great contest entry with this one!

A regular Dr. Kavorkian. That's all he was doing, helping people. Great twist ending. I read fear to many short stories that just fall flat at the end, like a page is missing.

A regular Dr. Kavorkian. That's all he was doing, helping people. Great twist ending. I read fear to many short stories that just fall flat at the end, like a page is missing.

What a clever story, an excellent end to what was a very good plot, each word, syllable and sentence worked hard toward its goal, a surprise end, but what else was going to happen? hahaha, very good something I think some would like to do with busy body in laws. I've had 3 sets with 3 marriages and never got along with any of them. great job on this, should do very well, best of luck and have a wonderful day.
