Maria, I don't really understand a drabble flash fiction, but what I think is you may have achieved the task with this, Good luck in the contest. Patricia

Me neither, to be frank. From the explanation it seemed just like normal flash fiction, but the word limit was between 98 and 102 words.
Thanks for reading.

I looked up the word drabble and here it is defined:
A drabble is a short work of fiction of around one hundred words in length. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.

Thanks, Patricia.

You captured my attention from the first line to the last,
the artwork you choose to go with your poem is a perfect match
This is what I call a food for thought poem... meaning after you read it you go mm.

I still don't understand the drabble but if this is drabble it is very cute.
Nicely done going from the fairy to the elf, then changing the subject. like that works with kids...lol

Apparently it is drabble, but I don't know what the difference with flash fiction is.
Thanks for reading.

A very well-written humorous story. Yes, we should keep our children small and feed their imagination for as long as we can. Once they lose their fantasy imagination, it is gone forever.

Thanks for reading, Sandra. My little one found out about Santa last Christmas (well, it's the Three Wise Men here in Spain mostly) and it's very sad.

I rather liked your great little story Maria, but I guess when I read Pegasus I should have twigged, but an excellent finish, when off the flew, Heh Heh. In these short ones it has to be in the last few words, and it was, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy

Hi there,
I liked this drabble. Should be well received in the competition I would have thought. Technically good write as well, which is very refreshing these days. Fun tale and content.
