A great blank verse poem. We as humans think we need to have power and treasures to be accepted by God. It is a mistake. He want simple down to earth people who know they need Him.

You have no idea how much it means to me to see this as my first review for this blank verse poem, Sasha. I have been looking at my reservation for the contest for weeks, but simply wasn't yet inspired, when suddenly I knew what I wanted/needed to write. The words came from someplace that made me cry when it was finished - with joy, not sorrow.

The thing I love, because of Christ, God sees us in the same light, I don't understand it, but we are promised co heirsship, equal inheritence a now seat in high places (heaven) how we're here and yet there, I'm not sure, but that's the mystery of infinity. Hi Dawn, this is a lovely free verse with words we can all strive to achieve in our daily walk through life. They say kindness is the new black, but honestly, I'm not sure why that is a concept and action being toted as something new. It kind of explains where society has dipped over the last few decades. Good luck in the contest.
