Hi there,
this was so nice. I do not know what it is like to lose a parent as I still have both of mine, but I can imagine what I would feel like if that happened now.I like that you use the simile of the violin strings to the heart strings.

This pulled my heartstrings. I can see an old man or woman, missing her/his longtime partner, still hearing the music of their love. Great flow and gorgeous in its succinctness.
