You did well writing without the letter A. It is a difficult task and I am not sure I could do it. I like the various parts of life you mention, spouse, dogs, felines and fruit. You make a good point about how difficult it is to write about fruit without the letter A.

Thank you. It was a fun and interesting challenge. Not as easy as I thought it would be.

I can't imagine writing this. It had to be extremely difficult figuring it all out. I give you loads of credit for this. I think you did an excellent job of finding ways to make yourself understood without using words with the vowel a. Did you have a huge headache when you were finished? Great job with this. Good luck in the contest.

A well-written contest entry. Your words flowed well and the entry moved from the beginning right through to the end. Your details and realistic thoughts brought it to life as I read it. It is amazing how things would change just by eliminating one letter.

While this is a clever prompt, I'm not sure I'd take the time or effort to complete. It is fun to see the results of someone who did.
Nice job on this. I tried to complete the review without using it too. Not the fun of perusing your's.
Thunk you!

Thank you for reading and commenting. It is difficult to write with such an important letter missing.

A very interesting story on how this contest with the missing letter A changes everything you normally write about. It does seem confusing or maybe just harder to think of the world without that wonderful letter at the beginning of the alphabet. Good luck on the contest. This was fun to read.

I enjoyed this journey through your random thoughts. It was an interesting ride. Four footed furry friends was a bit of a tongue twister. I liked the rhyme in the 2nd stanza and your discussion on pm only was clever. best of luck in the contest.

Thank you. I did my best but I think another writer has a much better story than mine. That's okay, I do these things for the fun of it.

Tough job, indeed; writer proves worthy; how tough, experience is worded well, feeling, sentiment, sense of humour preserved, interesting; problem resolved, exemplified; essence of the letter glorified; I enjoyed the style in free flow of thoughts with good beginning follows ending. (LETTER A NOT USED)

Thank you. I did still have a couple of the A letter in there which the contest review pointed out to me. I hope I have them all out now.

Heh! This is simply gut-bustingly funny! I did not yet peruse other entries for this contest, but this one surely wins.
One typo:
"it rhymes with louse, so if poetry I choose to write."
Did you intend to write...
"it rhymes with louse, if poetry I choose to write."
