Well expressed but catching snowflakes is hardly the most significant manner in which nature could be embraced. In this sense, a bit cliched.

Sorry you feel that way...it's perspective. When you've been married 48 years - you see life through the eyes of your grandchildren. Cliched perhaps. But I rejoice in seeing life through younger eyes, as mine continue to fail. You must have the advantage of youth...

A well-written contest entry. I do not know of any child who does not like catching snowflakes in their mouth nor eating handfuls of fresh snow. I think you completed the challenge of the contest well.
