Well done Kim I didn't even realise this was an acrostic until I read your authors notes That is how well it was written nothing forced just flowed down the page and all lines complimented the one before and after. An excellent Acrostic one of the bet I had read Good luck in the contest Cheers Christineð???ð???

    Hi Chrissy,

Thank you for taking the time to read and review. Acrostics are one of my favorite forms for exactly the challenge you mentioned. :) I appreciate the kind comments and the exceptional rating with this review. A six is always a thrill!

I generally do not like acrostics since they too often come across as forced. This has to be the most beautiful acrostic I have ever read. Superbly done and filled with strong emotion and fascinating information too. Brilliant work with this one. What a grand start for this amazing project. I sincerely wish you all the best and look forward to catching up with the chapters I have missed. It is late here so I will pick up with Chapter two tomorrow and hopefully be able to read several and by Wednesday possibly be all caught up.

Hi! Am I to call you Sasha or Smurphy?

Thank you for the wonderful review. I'm thrilled that you want to catch up on all the selections. I hope you will enjoy the diverse styles. I know you said that you didn't need any more fans, but one more can't hurt, right? Thanks for taking the time to read and comment. I'm pleased to have met you today.

I usually go by Sasha, but some call me Valerie since that is the name I was born with. My birth name was Valerie Jean Murphy, but my mother changed it to Alexandra Sasha Natalya Petrova when we moved to Mexico. I am 99 percent Scottish and .5 percent English and .5 percent Irish. Not a drop of Russian blood in me. It a long story and one day I will tell it again... or re-post the original story about my name.

    Hi Annie,

That is exactly what I wanted to be taken from this book. We have learned so much over the centuries and our societies have been influenced by the poets. I wanted validation for the Poet's voice, and you have just declared it. Thank you so much for this fantastic review.

Well, you certainly dove head first into this, crafting a lovely poem to kick start the effort. And you have penned a rhyming acrostic to boot. It is a lovely paean to the writer's craft, doubts, curiosity and love of words. I'm not even going to comment on the bumpy rhythm since I enjoyed it thoroughly anyway. Well done Kim.

I enjoyed reading your Acrostic poem "Prologue Echoes of Artistry." You rhymed you poem well and this was an extra bonus. Many things come under the umbrella of art, and poetry is my favorite.
Best of luck.

Very nicely put, Kim - you certainly have a large... vocabulary!

A great start to your book for this year. Are you going to do tributes to the styles of some of the masters?

Well done on producing a fine rhyming acrostic.

Probably six worthy, but alas, I have none.

Great work,
Craig

    Hi Craig,

I'll take a virtual six from you any day of the week. :) Thank you for the fantastic comments. I do plan to explore several poets and styles, just don't ask me for a list lol that part is 'off the cuff,' so to speak. We'll have to see where my whims take me for each day lol I always love to hear your opinions.

most enjoyable to read and well penned in accordance with the title. It must have been difficult to create the lines to match. You gave yourself quite a challenge and pulled it off admirably, Giddy
