thank you for sharing your lyrical poem about the loss of a love and moving on. I did have a problems with some of the rhymes; then and ran, and again and him, but I do realize that in song, you can change the emphasis of the syllable.
This made for a pleasant read, and a melody played in my head - a sure sign that the poem could be turned into a song,

This is a terrific entry for the Song Lyrics contest. I can picture this being sung by a female country artist like Carrie Underwood.

Well written with great rhyming, your lyrics tell a story of a gal who is moving on from a lover who turned his back on her. Now it's payback time. He wants her back, and she says no. "That picture in my locket isn't you" is my favorite line.
