Hahahahaha, Bill, I just loved this. Very funny. It's a great 5-7-5 poem. As I always say I just don't know where you get it from.
All the best. Ulla:))

I thought his face was upside down, but then I have had a few drinks and was not quite sure if it was me, the drinks or you. LOL. Good one Bill, you make me laugh a lot with your peculiar brand of humor.

Oh I see. I don't watch much TV anymore. I seem to spend most of my time on this darn computer.

I'll be darned. They look alike.

Who knew that sloths are so cute. I'm amazed at how slowly they move, but they're made that way. I know some humans that move that slow when you're wanting service. lol

Last week we went to a restaurant, the server walked by us thirteen times and finally stopped to ask what we wanted. My wife gave her a lecture, asks to speak to the manager, and then explained that we had been seated fifteen minutes without being acknowledged at all. Our server was ultra slow aftertaste and we skipped her tip and my wife talked to the manager again before we left. No one messes with Mrs. Schott.

I once had service so bad that when it came time for her tip, I told her, "Here's your tip - you should be better to your customers." Good for your wife!

This is a very interesting and cute 5-7-5 poem you have penned about the sloth. I never thought much about them until you started writing about them. Cute job! Blessings, Teri

I feel as if I am missing something here, because I do not know who Jake Tucker is. Would you enlighten me? Chin up? Is this supposed to be satire? I am not really certain it would have meaning to a reader who does not understand the cartoon and its relationship to the sloth being held upside down.

Dear Bill Schott. I like this very much. I happen to loved these wonderful animals. My first review to stated "FUNNY" but the review reviewing folks, who ever they may be, seem to insist that I must say more, or my review isn't sufficient. Well, ok! I thought this was very funny and well done. I have no negative comments except where they may apply to the review reviews. Just can't seem to make them happy. You are obviously a clever and established writer. This is my third try to tell you I liked it.

Right. I guess the purpose is to allow space to review and give a critique. I know that a haiku sized poem is tough to elaborate on. What I do is this: If it's a sonnet in a contest I begin, "This sonnet, McSonnet el Sonnetto, has the correct structure for a Shakespearean sonnet and...." and finish up with something in response to what the poem was about.

You just make me laugh. We may have fallen from the same nest, landed on our heads and haven't stopped laughing since.
