A very well-written four line poem. A peaceful place can influence us to find our inner peace. We have the power to keep hateful thoughts out of our minds and keep our inner peace.

Good use of the form to compare Peace to a place where negative emotions like "hate" cannot enter. And then "serenity" is personified as the king of that place.

Such truth in this poem. You held beautifully to the syllable requirements of the poem and it flowed so well. The message is so soothing to the reader. Very nice job. Good luck in the contest.

Very nicely phrased and so true. When we surround ourselves with the armour of serenity, it is hard for hate to break through the defences to wound us.
