What a wonderful age to focus on--two small boys with nothing better to do than ponder what ever pops into their heads.
This story fits the definition of cute.
Kids always want a hint. Other kids are always eager to oblige.
Well done.
Sorry I missed out on the voting.

thanks for the great review.
FS added more days before deadline, so voting hasn't started yet.
I really like and appreciate what you said. I wish I had a recognition left to give you. Also wish we were allotted more than 6 for a whole month.
Many thanks again!

Delightful humour. Lovely response to today's writing challenge. I doubt if there will be a better one. The dialogue is authentic and this one really does have a bite in the tail! Loved it!

This is so cute. I can visualize the scene.
Two kids talking to each other and playing the guessing game.
I think you have a good chance in the contest.
Best wishes!

This is cute, a perfect story for kids. I like the speech differences that you use, typical of little tykes, to let us guess their approximate ages. And the riddle was fun.
Best so far.

Can picture this conversation occurring.
Touch of humor thrown in for good measure.
Should make an interesting entry into this contest.

Hi there,
I enjoyed this piece and could clearly see this playing out. the dialogue is very good.
You might want to go through this for missing punctuation though. Even n a dialogue only story, you should really still include end / closing punctuation. Many are missing here.
All the best

will do. thanks. afraid I've gotten in the bad habit of writing with no capitals and less punctuation. :)
and thanks for the kind words.

Love the picture and the innocent conversation between the two young boys. It flowed so smoothly and seemed so believable. I was completely engaged as it moved through the dialogue. The speech impediment added to its charm. It made me giggle. I enjoyed reading it. This indeed could have been two boys on a bench.

Cute story and definitely one two little boys would have. The ouch begins yet another story. Very nicely done, Though I wonder about the lack of Capitol letters in telling this conversation. It would be a shame if you were disqualified because of that. Anyway, good luck on a good story. The drawing is perfect. A very good selection.

This speaks about two children who are on a bench contest speaking, defining a student and how they find it out in a funny, humorous way at last; I liked.
