Very clever and I loved you last line. The picture you paint with you words allows for a completely different angle of Autumn. That is what this contest is seeking. That I and you who entered reached beyond the obvious and found a story or poem in ourselves that brought different presentations. Good job, and good luck in the contest.

the Autumn of our blessed lives -

This is a nice, smoothly written poem. I think maybe a typo second line, first word, should read "that". You've done a great job of writing about autumn and not using any colors, but you still had lots of feeling and expression in your poem. The set up and picture are quite lovely. Good luck - Carol
