Amazing! I loved it! The images are clear and provocative, the rhyme scheme was good and the rhymes themselves were better, and the short-and-sweet vibe was not lost on me. Awesome!

Yea! I remember those days well friend, those lazy hazy days of summer and the endless hours of fun and frolicing with family and friends. Now we get to live vicariously through our children and hopefully later on through our grand children : )

I enjoyed reading your Nove Otto poem, as it took me back to teenage years spent at the beach. I love your "mermaid's veil" metaphor. Excellent! It reads well aloud, too.

This is a relaxing poem. The picture is great for it. The first line is probably my favorite. "My heart remains upon the shore" It kind of brings a sense of remembrance and longing. Good job!
