Your words leave Autumn in the hands of winter frost, we should enjoy the colours before they fade, your words are a moment in time and a joy to read, love Dolly x

This is a beautiful poem. I liked it very much. It made for an enjoyable read. Very well reflected thoughts and opinions. The flow was smooth. The theme well thought out.

There was no SPAG. No typos. No homophones. No problems at all.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Love you,

Oatmeal

Greetings, My, Anonymous Poet;
-while reading to your excellently written piece of poetry I realized one part of your poem in one verse, "she crimsons crowns...."; are you actually trying to say a reddish crown...? It's a good alliteration as I just never heard this before...
-Once I got over this little hump, I thought your poem was very well written , to the point picture imagery was demonstratively descriptive as well is definitively and vividly expressive throughout.
-This imagery created and enjambment to flow smoothly throughout the writing without much of a syntactical or grammatical error in your writing. Excellent!
-A wonderful picture that is absolutely relative and supportive to you conceptual theme.
-You have all the best of luck in the contest and may peaceful happiness always be with you.
Alex

I truly appreciate your very kind praise of "Autumn," Alex, and your comments. I did convert "crimsons" into a verb, hoping it would suggest how Autumn painted those trees red. Rod

I realize that you must've changed Crimson into a verb. You are very welcome RodG and take care and peace and harmony to you friend.

This free verse, Autumn, creates a delightful character of Autumn. As she 'crimsons crowns of trees' and 'trims in chestnut flounce', the beauty of the season becomes a bright and lively decoration. Nice.

A very well-written poem about Autumn and its beautiful sceneries created by nature for our eyes to enjoy. Unfortunately, it comes with a price, we have to withstand winter's cold.

Though I normally prefer rhyme in poetry, I like this effective personification of Autumn in this Campion. Thank you for defining the style in the Notes. Well done and aptly illustrated.

I think this free verse poem about Autumn is a really good contender for the competition
As it is very different in it's approach. Stunning picture to enhance the words. Good luck.

Usually I write traditional rhymed verse, so this Campion was a challenge. I am delighted you enjoyed it and the chosen artwork. Rod

Autumn Free Verse writing prompt entry is fresh and creative with its personification of Autumn's femininity. I liked turning a noun color into a verb in crimson. I do that for fun. Makes writing creative and adds humor. Nicely done in the choice of words in describing a gregarious personality. All the best in the contest! :0 GracieAnn
