The demise of a duck. I always felt sorry for ducks in duck shooting season. We actually don't have such a season in Australia. I think they are protected.
Nice rhyming in this one Bill. Thanks for sharing

Thank you for sharing more of your Duck World poetry. I liked this one with the contemplation of death after the shot of the gun. Poor ducks; it isn't all swimming and eating, is it?

    Thanks, Patty. Except for Donald, Daffy, and that little yellow guy, ducks are pretty much for shooting at.
