A real picture in words. Great selection for a picture also. We are fortunate to have hummingbirds at our house and encourage them to stay as long as they will. They are "make us happy" little creatures.

As a hummingbird watcher I enjoyed this. While you did satisfy the requirements of the Trinet form, you might have made it a touch more lyrical. When I review a poem, I read it through for content, then I read it aloud for musicality. Your longer lines could benefit from a few simple changes to render them easier on the ear. Here's the way it might read smoother...
"Summer's warmth and wildflowers replaced by/
Fall's pumpkin patches and cool breezes"
Hard to say. Not everyone reads their poems aloud anymore.

Will definitely take your suggestions and apply them. I wrote this about 20 minutes ago and usually end up tweaking my poems a half dozen times! Thank you for taking the time to read and review.
