I like this one, Bill. Humorous with fun words. Poem does have form with syllables 4, 4, 7 except for line nine which has 8 with "mustachioed" but never mind. That's a great word.

Thanks, Marilyn, for giving this a look. I looked up the spelling, but yours is the one I wanted.

Lol. Very cute. Reads musically. Winter king? I guess a hide like a walrus should be perfect for winter. In his own way, he is a "cutey" but "beauty" well, in the "blubbery sense." I won't ask why.

Why ask why indeed? Do you want the truth? Can you handle the truth? If he is a cutey then roottie toottie. Let her rip then take a sip of my rootie beer, let's all cheer, grab your gear and get the hell outta here, because my dear, I fear that the end is very near!

Just what the doctor ordered, Bill. I mean that sincerely. The balance of humor's good! Just out of the hospital (2 days out) after a three day stint for MILD congestive heart failure.

Wonderful! I love the wording in these stanzas, they are a lot of fun in the
sing-song format you've used. They are perfect for the fun illustrations. I really enjoyed reading this one. :) Sandra xx

Bill,

This poem is very cute. What an appropriate name for a Walrus! That name is a tongue twister, and it's fun trying to pronounce the name.

The alliteration and assonance are cute as well.

I enjoyed reading this poem.

Thank you for sharing.

Hahaha, Bill, wonderful poem about your friend the walrus. He is a wonderful animal and he really appeals to my sense of humour. I love your poem and the play of words. Looking out for more. All the best. Ulla:))

Another fun Walrus poem. Well done. Although I'm struggling to say the first word.
Good rhythm. Kind of zany.
I liked it.
