Oh yeah, I get it just fine, Bill.
In fact, I've seen the Fairuza Baulk, Marlon Brando version of The Island of Dr. Moreau about a hundred times.
I LOVE Fairuza Baulk.
I guess we all have to bear with Bear and his obvious speech impediment.
Poor Aardvark, he has a bit of a lisp too, doesn't he? But, it's easy enough to understand him.
Ensign mink's quite the little fox, 'ey?
Well, every story has to have it's eye candy, right?
Good stuff!
~Dean :)

This is very amusing. I like gentlemenimals.

Having the captain in the MGM chair, the bear in a hard chair, the aardvark on the termite hill, and the mink posing is very clever.

Looking forward to the rest of the story. lol

Sorry I missed earlier versions. I haven't had enough time with that BS column. Take waaayyy too much time, another reason to stop doing it. I like the idea of animals acting as gentlemenimals. Clever! :)

Cute animal space explorers! I was against demoting Pluto from its planet status but they never asked for my opinion. Wonder what will our heroes come up with next.

Not sure if these were intentionally spelled this way:
" Lietenant" (Lieutenant)
"coinsides " (coincides)

I have spelled lieutenant correctly one million times before this piece and wrong on every occurrence here. Thank you. I fixed coincide too. Q

I'm in a play, babysitting grandchildren, and dealing with holiday travels. Retirement keeps me pretty busy.

Another good Aardvark story, beginning.
Well done and funny. I like the addition of the other characters.
I'm looking forward to reading the rest.

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Bill, you can do so much with zany animal characters possessing human traits. This could catch on. Consider target marketing it to the late adolescent/young adult market which allows you to play around with more mature themes.

I like it!

Thanks, Jay, for looking at this. I try to crack myself up and that usually leaves me between reader bases. Thanks for the big stars.

Haven't seen you post in a while Bill. I hope all is well?

If nothing else my friend, you have a vivid imagination. This whole series of different animals I can see as one of those wonderful anthologies of your own work with great pictures and these writes. It would make a grand book to read to kids. You may need to slightly change a couple of things, however I can see it delighting so many little imaginations. xoxo deborah

Thanks, Deborah, for the excellent review. I'm always writing to crack myself up, so Zi tend to get to mature for kids and too benign for readers looking for rough language and graphic scenes.
