I like how you include a character list at the end. I don't feel like anything was rushed in the portion, so looks like you slowed it down in your edit. I'm intrigued with this story and will have to start catching up when I get the chance to. Nice job.

It sounds like this dinner party could be the perfect foil to all of their plans. I'm concerned about the safety of Emily and Shana. If they send Emily to bed --- someone could kidnap her.

Sounds like a LOT of trouble to hold such a large party. Why is Drew doing it if he hates them? I must forgotten the reason. When you post only weekly, it's hard to keep the plot in mind. But you have a job. I'm retired. :)

I love breakfast pizza!
And I'm with Drew when it comes to dinner parties.
In fact, I'm not going to the company Christmas dinner this weekend because of it.
That and I've seen enough of their faces in the past three months having only 8 days off total.
I love how you can manage to interact so many characters in conversation so smoothly.
It's like I'm a fly on the wall and listening to every word.

From my take of the story so far, the story is primarily about Shana and that mysterious family painting that was possibly part of the Raubkunst (Nazi-looted art). So my thoughts are that Shana should be a bit less "diminutive" in her role. She seems to always be in the background and always reacts to fellow protagonists or to situations around her, instead of actively acting.
Having said that - and those are purely my own personal take - the story continues to be excellent. No spags.
