My favorite line is "finding scents" since I know this well. I have the gift (or curse) to have them abruptly take me from the 'Now' world and propel me back within an instant. What a beautiful piece, Ghost.

Aw, that was a sad ending, Mike! Bit it was a lovely 5-7-5 poem. It told a story of love and ending, which is always sad for one of the couple. You were very clever with the presentation, it certainly looks like crumpled satin sheets. Well done, my friend. Good luck in the contest. :) Sandra x

I liked the photo, did not see what it was till I read your poem. An original and daring entry for this contest. I liked it, it is different. I only doubt somehow if you can win with this. But the fact is after your partner went fading scents and sweet ache of goodbye stays.

Splendid. Looks like art. Spirit and charm mixed in a cocktail served chilled to fans like BOO. Presentation looks fancy. Words work well.Nice imagination to think up such unusual words. takes a talent, a special paint brush to put thoughts on a canvas and you pulled it off like a magician pulling a rabbit out of a top hat. Wish I had a nugget for this masterpiece. Sensational! BOO~
