Oh this is so cute. Sorry I missed voting in the contest. I think you placed in it, though. Clever and cute. The poor peanut. Well done and amusing. Marilyn

Laughed out loud. Literally.

Funny, great 5-7-5.

If a peanut is injured, does the five second rule still apply? I doubt medical science can help, but maybe you know?

LOL - well, this is certainly clever wordplay, although I am awfully afraid I might be the perpetrator... nothing like high protein and good fibre. Even better when it's a salted peanut. LOL. Good luck.

Oh, dear, why the question mark? The fact that I laughed - twice - and rated as I did must assure you I liked it...? (LOL = laugh out loud)

    You're welcome. :)

A very well-written fun 5-7-5 poem. A peanut found on the ground was not eaten by a human but laying on the ground where every one steps on him and become very badly injured.

Hahahahaha!
Oh yeah, this is very good.
Good use of double entendre, a perfect syllable count, and it's actually quite funny too.
You made me laugh and that's good enough for me.
You've got my vote...

Bwahahaha! Oh, that is SO bad! Clever and witty five - seven - five flows well and gave me a laugh. Thanks for that! Good luck in the contest.

I think this is a clever entry for the Just for Fun writing prompt.
A good combination of poem and pun.
Nicely done and good luck to you with the competition.

This is a fantastic metaphoric poem I read.
A soldier lying wounded injured on the ground, following an assault.
I liked and enjoyed the visual word imagery.

Poor peanut! A very clever way to say an awful lot in such a short poem! It is delightful, and very funny. I would now like to hear how you NUT OUT your future verses?
