God... I wish I felt in my body as I feel in my mind. 60 is the new 50, you know, but I feel about 160 in body and about 27 in my brain.
Create a salve to let my body and mind feel 27 and you've got a deal. And a fat bank account.

Your poem is a very good reminder that most of us are not who we used to be back in our twenties. Good description of the recent changes. I also like how the Speaker retains her optimism and good cheer. An occasional verse stumbles in cadence (e.g.--though the mirror doesn't reflect it), but overall this is a fun read.

A very good take off on the comic side of the body. It could relate to anyone and so, is universal in the take away for an elder that only one's own sense of humor can
save them from this doom.
