I was wondering what all the buzz was about. If this were a contest entry, I'm not sure what the syllable count would be for Buzz and Hm---. The sound effects work well, though. They would make it a fun read-aloud piece. Fun alliterative names with Bertram and Boyd. Always the threat of the sting. What can you expect from a bee? This is cute. judi

Buzz had better buzz off, surely he must know that the birdman eats bugs for breakfast and he could be on the breakfast menu. Old honey breath is probably smelling kind of sweet and like something good to eat.

This is a clever and creative poem. I can hear the bees buzzing around and I admire your use of the letter B. There is also a little story in your poem, the bee can sting. Excellent use of words and a strong steady beat.

I just love this. It flows well and actually has a little rhythm to it. I think it is cute and the picture is wonderful for it. This would be great for a children's book of poems. It reminded me a little of Dr. Seuss.
