I like how the "heartfelt melody" and "winsome glee" collaborated. It brought out the nature of the chickadee beautifully, and, as the reader, I was able to internally visualize a lively bird. Well done!

-I love the photo, as well as chickadees!
-Syllable count is good.
-I like the use of rhyme to add flow
to the poem, and also make it
musical, like the chickadee!
-I like the description in line two,
and the satori ending.
-A very good entry; good luck.

This is a very nice entry for the Bye Bye Blackbird writing prompt. I also love the chickadee. It is one of my favorite birds! I didn't check the rules, but I like that you have all three lines rhyming. Good luck in the competition with this one!

We have flocks of these chickadees in northern Illinois, but I love our state bird--the cardinal. You describe it subjectively as "steadfast and winsome," terms I really like. Good use of rhyme in this short poem.
