Oh yes I love this poem and its message. Our light comes from the son not the sun. Great message here about knowing where our light comes from. Good rhyming and word flow make it easy to read and understand. God bless for sharing this with us.

It somehow brings to mind the Virgin Mary, pointing the way to her Son. It speaks of how we reach out through physical images, to find spiritual renewal and uplift. interesting image idea. estory

I really love this poem. Perhaps because I wrote a similar one, but I referenced the stars, instead of the moon. Your poem reads similar to a prayer (or a plea) to God for mercy and strength.
Great usage of the couplets and rhyme scheme.
