This 3-5-3, Savoring the Nector, has the right syllabic format and finds the mile-a-minute bird dining faster that we can choose something to eat. Life is fast for some.

This is very cute, fun, and cleverly written. As fast as the hummingbird moves, I don't know how slow this beautiful bird can sip. It would be interesting to find out. I enjoyed reading this June! Well done!

This poem does a great job attached to image, I often wonder if the poem is wrote after image selection or before, either way it was a grate read.
Thank you and have a great day!

A very well-written 3-5-3 poem about the hummingbird that shares sweetnees of the nectar with us in our lives. To see them busy drinking the nectar is a wonderful experience.

Ooo-ooo-ooo! So VERY nice. Lovely image in the poem [lovely picture too, actually] and a meaningful statement, wrapped up in a tiny package. I like it!

So glad you share the sentiments. Sip slowly and savor...summer is too short.

Oh, I wish I had a six for this beautiful 5-7-5 poem. Hummingbirds like jewels hovering and flitting among red and orange flowers (bees aren't attracted to those colors, I'm told, so no competition for food). Outstanding. :) Nancy

This is a good entry. Your words are soft yet evocative. I would definitely like my life to be as sweet as hummingbird dreams. I also liked the image you selected.

I get what your saying . Your second line to me translates, life is sweet only in humming birds dreams. Try, "Just has the humming takes the nectar" I think that support the title and hammers you message home more clearly.
