This twenty-syllable poem, A Windy Day, reminds me of those joyous few days of flying kites each year as a kid. They were good for a couple flights, then -- the tree.

I love this sweet little poem! Wonderful job creating a story in so few words. I love the picture you chose to go with it as well. I was able to imagine the whole scene taking place. Great job!

This is a great verse and so appropriate to our season. it's very windy here in Richmond, VA too and I've seen a lot of kites. Hope you and your grandkids had a good time.

Clear and compact 20 syllable poem, with a cheerful fun image and a very pleasant sound. It has a nice picture to help it along too. Altogether a nice, breezy job. Thank you!

Yep, one man's gale is another's kite weather. I always enjoy these proud grandpop pieces. Looks like this one is also an appropriate twenty syllable poem.

I think this is a good entry for the 20 Syllable Poetry writing prompt.
Your short verse tells of kite flying on a windy day.
Well done and good luck to you with this one in the competition.
Sharon
