Congratulations on your win. I loved your beautifully

summers by a lake in Washington.
Good use of alliteration and wonderful images to bring the reader "lakeside"

A very well-written Pleiades poem about the wonderful times at the Lakeside. Where the children swim in the water from dawn to dusk and sitting at the campfire till it's time for bed.

I love your poem... so vivid, detailed, descriptive and appreciative of mother nature in all of her wonder at the lake and/or in nature... I love camping - always have -- because when I am outdoors, I usually feel an instant connection to God and through God, to others and to life in general.. Reading your poem, I could taste the fish we caught, feel the flames of the fire, and be in awe watching the glorious heavens, the stars, including one of my favorite constellations "Pleiades, or the Seven Sisters" is one of my favorite..

Excellent poem. I can hear the children in play, the calling of the loons, the smell of onions and fish cooking on the open fire, and my mouth waters for the morel mushrooms. I long to be out there with the fresh air and the peacefulness among the stars and the pines. Life slows down and we enjoy every minute. It will pull at my heart strings calling me back. All rules of writing prompt followed and my dear poet, it was exquisite. Thank you. Kat

So smooth your lines sail I feel the pull, the allure of your world. The words flow from your pen in an artistic manner that I must learn your style. I feel myself enchanted by the vision of your painting. This is a good entry for the Pieiades Contest.

This is my home in Northern Minnesota, thirty miles up the Gunflint Trail out of a little town called Grand Marais. Lake Superior is next to Grand Marais which only adds to the magic. Everything you mentioned in your Pleiades poem, I have, every summer. Very nice read.

Hello victor 66!
Thank you for your excellent rating and complimentary review.
I, too, live in a northern town, between two glorious bays that we can see from our home high on a bluff.
So very lucky we are...
