I wish I could give you 6 stars but I am only a standard member at this time. Boy, did you make me hungry with that trout! I've never heard of sand as sugar either. You grab all the senses with this poem. Excellent job. You make me wish I was there. I see no errors in the writing. I really enjoyed this and you made a great selection for a photo. Where I live, we always refer to the sand as "sugar sand" as it is so pure and soft...like sugar!

I think this is a well written entry for the Pleiades Poetry writing prompt.
Your verse gives a good description of the lakeside within the Pleiades structure.
