Well Ricky in this Valley of dolls that you written about everyone seems to have some issues as we all do but let me point out that as you get close to bottom of this piece right before the 2003 you have a d instead of an s for should be as you have ad. Anyway as I was saying in this Valley of dolls we all probably fall into that Valley with one issue or another. The artwork that you chose is very appropriate for the writing. Thank you for sharing

a room full of patients as a room full of dolls, an intriguing metaphor, DR. Rick. all in need, all at the mercy of others, yet each with a very different story. well penned...............meeshu

Comment from Gloria ....
So good Dr Ricky. Organ donation brings life to others and likening it to dolls in waiting in Oz is an apt allusion.
I certainly hope it makes a difference and people follow the advice of your poem.
My pleasure to review.

I was a little confused at first, but it all came together by the end of the poem. Good idea to include the link for organ donation.
My, 'Gift of Life', will probably come (to) late!"
too
That's the only spelling correction needed that I found.
All the very best.

You're welcome. I've come to the conclusion that it's nigh impossible to edit ones own work. I can go over my writing fifteen times and still miss the most obvious errors!

I will continue to remind you Jason is not missing--he has passed to a peaceful heaven where he awaits you in God's choice of time. On his way from this world he left behind life giving organs to sustain the life of more than one person. This is not the fate you wanted for him. To be sure it is not the fate he would have chosen for himself...but it is not for us to understand, in the here and now, God's great plan for us all. Keep the faith and keep writing. IN doing so you help yourself and you honor Jason.

Most of my work is done to bring attention to my work.
Whether Spiritual or Other.
I try to mix it. With,Straight Poetry and additions to My books but Jason seems to get 'First Call!'
Thanks for you kind thoughts.

Because of your son's kindness and generosity, another family was spared the pain that yours has suffered.
My mother was an organ donor, but when the time came, they said she was too old. To my family it was like they'd slapped her in the face on her deathbed. It had meant so much to her.

Sorry about that.
My friend is too old for a Kidney and he wouldn't be on Dyalisis if...
They offered him a Kidney from a man who died and had Aids!
Thanks,

This speaks about visiting a fantasy land of dolls where father waits for return of his son and cannot return without a son but had to; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR
