Children not only make you feel alive, the also make you feel young. In my life I have two sons, a daughter-in-law, two step-daughters and seven grandchildren. All have made my life better. This is a very nice poem and I wish you luck in the contest.

This precious little girl lost her mom, my beautiful daughter, suddenly a few weeks ago. I have vowed to care for her for she is a part of of my daughter. I told my little granddaughter that every time she sees a butterfly, a feather, or a lady bug, it is her mommy coming to say "I love you and miss you."

Thank you for reading and the kind comments. Her mom died suddenly last month. I lost my precious daughter and vow to take care of this little one left behind, a piece of her. The pain eases with each smile and hug and I tell her that when she sees a butterfly fluttering, a feather blowing, or a ladybug, it is her mom coming to send her love from heaven. God has a plan but the pain is enormous. I am trying to keep the faith by writing and sharing...
