I like how you remind us what FanStory's purpose is: to provide an outlet to share our writing. But I do not understand what you mean when you say CLIQUES have been formed on site. If so, what are they doing that you condemn? One other error: "eluded" should be ALLUDED.

I liked this piece. It a little shorter than many of the others but it's right on the nose in what it says. I rarely enter site contests, sometimes you have to be 'in favour' and I just do my own thing, always. lol

I don't really see any negative effects of cliques, here - wish you had explained more about where you are seeing that - just for information.
A couple of notes:

This is a good comment for this challenge and lands somewhere in the middle of what I've heard over the past few years. The site is a love/hate arrangement and the social side, cliquish side, totally abusive side, and absolute beginner side all percolate throughout a month to create bonds, feuds, eye-rolls combined with heavy sighs, and apathy that allows all of it to exist within this world. Hope we can all continue to use this place to test out material on good readers and the other game players who make up our home here. Happy day.

This is a good comment for this challenge and lands somewhere in the middle of what I've heard over the past few years. The site is a love/hate arrangement and the social side, cliquish side, totally abusive side, and absolute beginner side all percolate throughout a month to create bonds, feuds, eye-rolls combined with heavy sighs, and apathy that allows all of it to exist within this world. This is an interesting take on the idea of reviewing FanStory. To me it is more of a review of the folk in it. But then what is FanStory but a group of people with a common aim. Your most valid criticism is that it has become groups of people rather than one cohesive whole. Those cliques you spoke of. You have a good popint.
