I saw the authors notes, irritating isn't it when some don't take the time to try and understand what is being said. I had one like that recently... finally gave up trying to explain it and just said thank you to everyone. LOL. :))shawn

That picture is haunting! I can only imagine what the man is thinking as he stands there. Is he gloomy, or does he like this darkness? His soul probably feels as dark as the poem describes. I couldn't quite figure out what was meant by 'often fare storms' but maybe if I kept reading it, it would fall into place. Nice job!

Beautiful! Your poem flows very and uses words to create an image of one walking alone in the midst of a storm, possibly enjoying magnificence of the power of it. This is an excellent entry for the contest. Good luck!
