This poem expressed several things, and each very well. The desire for adventure is contagious while reading it. The friendship and freedom make me jealous. I don't do well with writings such as this. Give me a prompt for a topic and I'm off and running, but having to place certain words in a poem is intimidating as can be. This is quite well done.

You bring back that era (the Depression) when it was not uncommon for young men to jump into freight cars and see the country. Good description of how it's done and the ENTHUSIASM this young pair had. One error: money in our POCKETS.
