Congratulations of placing second in the contest.
The words and artwork mesh well. This definition of truth and trust is rife with alliteration which makes it more rhythm and accentuates the emotion.

Yeah, I wasn't onboard with the message since "truth" is an extremely subjective and played-out term. And many people don't believe in telling a "truth" at all, so it isn't their "tale." And I'm not sure what you mean by "tethered. Tethered to what? But thanks for sharing.

Mathematically your equation, trust = constancy over time would rate a six plus. I loved the absolute accuracy of that statement. The alliteration also deserves a high mark, sadly I have no sixes left. I see in the author's notes you call this whimsy # 55. I'd love to read it's 54 predecessors.
