Wow this is awesome! I love Dracula and scary material, I've never been too good at writing it though. But you wrote this perfectly and makes me ready for Halloween. Good luck with the contest!!!!!

I am delighted you enjoyed my brief scene of the classic Dracula stories, Carlie. This one was fun to write because I can still visualize the scene from the old Christopher Lee films of the 60s.

This one-hundred-word poem, Dracula Awakes, presented in iambic tetrameter and ABCB rhyme scheme, falls into the limited text requirements and gets the chief cook and blood sucker up for a round of neck biting. Love this time of year.
