Beautiful poem for the 20 syllable poem contest. I love the imagery that you have used through the fan art as well to talk about symbolism for beams and guides it is very appropriate for the lighthouse to be a part of the picture. Nice pick and superb poem! Good luck in the contest.

We have many lighthouses here on the New England shoreline dating back centuries - to guide those brave seafaring men back home to their anxious wives. And metaphorically speaking, love can be the light that guides us through life. Thank you for allowing us to use your artwork to enhance our words!
