Your well crafted poem brought back many memories from my childhood, I grew up nead Lake Erie and had a ball swimming, fishing and yes Ice fishing as well. I heard the story of the Edmond Fitzgerald. scary.

Excellent

I enjoyed reading this poem about the mighty Lake Superior. What a contrast in the two photos, one is so peaceful and calm, the other is wild and the waves are high. Just like our lives, I guess. Sometimes we are calm and other times we are quite turbulent!

this is a very nice story in really smooth flowing free verse, about a truly amazing lake. it is almost an ocean. I still like our little puddle better (Tahoe)..
