Congratulations on winning this contest. Acrostics take a whole lotta patience and talent to pull them off. Yours has a lovely prayerful theme, and I love the picture you chose to go with it. It gives off a powerful message.

I like to make the first letter of each line larger and in bold so it is easier to read the acrostic word. Just a personal preference of mine.

I look forward to checking out another of your poems today.

Sincerely Joy xx

Thank you, Joy. I am so glad you liked that one. It was one I prayed would... get it right... not for me, but as a blessing to someone else. Thanks for your lovely review!!

A very wonderful response to this writing prompt and contest. Your acrostic style Bible poem was well-written with some very compelling thoughts about God's ability to calm us through our faith. Nicely done. I hope you do well in the contest.

A very well-written bible acrostic poem about our SAVIOUR who gives His life for sinners like us. The father send His Son to die for us, we can only show Him our gratitude.

Your poem speaks volumes about the faith in God, our Saviour. Picture shows surrender which is beautiful addition to your perfect Bible Acrostic. Best of luck.

Nicely stated, Anonymous Poet.
Your entry utilizes good alliteration, a clear & concise message, and a stunning presentation to bring it all home.
Good luck!

How respite is absolute and acts upon one's life and acts as saviour is spoken here in this acrostic Bible; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

Very cleaver acrostic poem. The word match to the poem is well done. I don't see that much of this around here. Keep it coming. You did good.

This is very clever and creative. I like how you have in the summary BIBLE and each word means something towards life. Saviour. Outstanding job!

This acrostic poem, Respite, presented with the vertical theme of SAVIOUR, gives the reason for the easing of pressure and the lifting of a heavy load.

Inspired poetry. Seeking rest from God, coming to Him in humility we receive His comfort and wholeness by grace. This poem illustrates the life of a believer, trusting God and receiving His peace. Thank you for sharing.
